Repair Base Fills Up with Yachts

Yachts named Family Day, Bluemar II, Lady Sunshine and Vitamin are currently being serviced in our repair base.
The Family Day yacht is moored in Marina Trogir and it is undergoing renovation of the main engines. After the treatment of the engines, the yacht will be moved to the dock where underwater operations will be performed on it, including the inspection and servicing of underwater valves and jet propellers.
The Family Day luxury motor yacht was built in the Codecasa shipyard in Viareggio (Italy) and delivered in 2007. Its luxury design is the work of the Franco & Anna Della Role tandem. The hull and the superstructure of the yacht are made of aluminium, the decks are covered in teak and the interior is fully adapted to the modern man and his needs. Ten guests can be accommodated in five cabins.
The Bluemar II yacht comes to our repair base once a year. This year, works on it will include the servicing of the main and auxiliary engines, as well as of several ship engine coolers, modification of the ventilation on deck and the underwater inspection of valves, along with the indispensable cleaning and painting and replacement of zinc anodes.
The Bluemar II is a luxury yacht which sails under the Dutch flag. It was built in 1978 in the Van Lent shipyard – today Feadship – and is 39 m long, 8 m wide and has a draught of 3.40 m. Four spacious cabins can accommodate eight passengers with seven crew members at their disposal. During the summer months, it takes its guests on Adriatic cruises and during the winter it is anchored in one of the Zadar ports.
Using a travel lift, the Lady Sunshine was also lifted from the sea onto the servicing platform, for the cleaning and painting of the lower part of its hull and the replacement of zinc anodes.
Lady Sunshine was built in 1989 and fully reconstructed in 2013. It is 33.40 m long and 7.70 m wide. Its three cabins can accommodate 6 passengers with five crew members at their disposal. The ship is powered an MTU 415 horsepower engine which can reach the maximum speed of 11 knots, that is, 9 knots during cruising.
Works on the Vitamin yacht, which was moved from the small Dock 4 to a berth in Marina Trogir, are also continuing and will include the servicing of anchor windlasses and the varnishing of its interior.
