The 'joyMe yacht has sailed in for repair, which will be performed in the following days and will include works on the hull and in the ship's interior. The underwater part of the hull will be washed and painted while its above-water parts will also undergo repair in several places. For the purpose of class renewal, the rudder stock, bearings and clearance will be measured, prior to which it is necessary to demount and remount the propeller and propeller shaft, as well as the rudder plates. Apart from this, the propellers and propeller shafts will also be polished and the intake strainers and bow thruster grids will be cleaned. In order to ensure full navigation safety, the state of the engine room will be checked and a part of the anchor cables will be replaced. Part of the teakwood on the bow will also be replaced.
The 'joyMe luxury yacht was built in 2012 in the Kraljevica shipyard, it is 49.9 m long, 9 m wide, has a draught of 2.55 m and sails under the Croatian flag. Its six luxury cabins can accommodate up to 12 guests, which are under the round-the-clock care of 11 crew members. While sailing, the guests can enjoy the elegantly furnished lounge, sunbathe on one of the decks, swim in the deck pool or use the fitness room. The ship can reach a speed of 14 miles per hour during sailing.
