The motor vessel Ivona, owned by Obalna plovidba d.o.o., sailed into the small dock for its regular overhaul. The vessel is 40 metres long and specializes in the transport of gas and oil to the islands of the Split maritime zone.
During the overhaul, protection works will be carried out on the vessel's hull, which presumes its cleaning and painting, as well as the installation of new zinc anodes. Depending on the results of the inspection, works on the steel plates are possible as well. The propeller shaft and suspended rudder will be serviced as well, and the underwater suctions and valves inspected. If all goes to plan, the ship will return to its duties at sea very quickly.
