Athena and Artemis Cruise Ships and Tanit Yacht under Repair

Athena and Artemis, two cruise ships owned by Small Ships Management Limited from the Cayman Islands, have again, after a successful tourist season, sailed into our port for repair. Artemis is located in the small dock, where corrosion protection of the hull with the replacement of zinc anodes and propellers will be performed, along with works on suction wells. The Athena is moored to the outfitting quay where small-scale piping, fitting and electrical works will be carried out afloat.  All the scheduled activities should be completed by the end of this month.
The two ships have identical characteristics - they are 59.60 m long, 10.68 m wide and have a shallow draft of only 3 m, which enables them to sail into shallow local waters, that is, access the ports of the Adriatic cities, which are their main destinations. During the winter months, the ships sail on the Zadar-Šibenik-Split-Hvar-Dubrovnik-Kotor-Korčula-Neum Adriatic route, whereas during the summer, the tour includes a cruise on the Ionian Sea.
The Tanit motor yacht is also under repair, for works on the main and auxiliary machinery and steering system, as well as for various mechanical, piping, fitting and electrical works.
The yacht was built in 1967 and was fully renovated in 2012. It is 45.56 m long, 7.83 m wide and has a draft of 2.70 m. It has 6 cabins which can accommodate up to 12 guests. The ship's maximum speed is 15 knots.
