Service Centre Trogir in the prestige industry

This year, the Monaco Yacht Show had its 25th anniversary and was held from 23–26 September at Monaco's Hercules port. This year's show had the biggest number of exhibitors and exhibited vessels so far.
Our employees from the Service Centre Trogir (SCT) participated in this prestigious fair, at which they presented to the owners of megayachts and superyachts the features of the Trogir Marina and the services of the SCT.
Engineer Mario Geić told us more about the fair:
"Our visit to the fair had a dual purpose: the presentation of the Marina's new capacities and talks with potential clients about the provision of repair and refitting services. New features of the repair services were also presented, i.e. the new reconstructed dock with a capacity of 8500 t and the "small dock" with a capacity of 800 t.
Talks were held with the companies managing superyachts, the companies involved in promotion and special editions, as well as with the equipment and materials suppliers in the superyacht industry. Especially interesting were the talks with the representatives of the Monaco Marine company, the leaders in the field of superyacht repair and refitting on the Mediterranean, held on the subject of potential business cooperation.
As a special highlight, the m/y Katina, built in the Split shipyard, was presented at the fair and had a well-received promotion, while the m/y JOY sailed into Monaco after repair, which was carried out in Trogir."
The fair is visited by 30 000 people every year and is a venue at which the visitors can survey the diverse nautical offer and exchange their experiences about the emerging trends in the industry. Incidentally, the prestigious Hercules port is too small to accommodate the interests of numerous exhibitors, which have to book their place in it as early as several years in advance, and there are many more which end up on the waiting list. For this type of fair, waiting is certainly worth it.
