Superyacht "I Nova" Sails in for Repair Works

The big dock of the Trogir shipyard is currently occupied by three ships - the catamaran "Krilo Carbo", the motor sailing vessel "Astral" and the superyacht "I Nova".
Corrosion protection works will be carried out on the underwater part of the hulls of all three ships, along with cleaning, painting and replacement of zinc anodes. In addition to corrosion protection works, replacement of sea-water pipelines for the automatic loading of the generator will also be carried out on the yacht "I Nova". Repair works on "Astral" are more extensive; in addition to corrosion protection, they also include the inspection of underwater valves and the propeller shaft, while two anchor chains will be stretched out, washed and measured. In addition, a mega-test of electrical wiring will be performed.
The catamaran "Krilo Carbo" was built in 2012 and is owned by a domestic company which bases its business on cruise services and transport of passengers by high speed craft. The "Krilo Carbo" is one of the catamarans in a fast shipping fleet and belongs to the Semi Wavepiercing Catamaran type. It is 40.8 m long, 10.8 m wide and has a draught of 3 m.
The luxury superyacht "I Nova" was built in the Greek shipyard Cosmo Explorer in 2013, according to the design by Cristiano Gatto, an Italian designer. It is 49.75 m long, 9.50 m wide and has a draught of 3.15 m. It is powered by two diesel MTU engines, which can reach the speed of up to 15 knots during free manoeuvring and up to 12 knots during cruising. It sails under the Cayman Islands flag.
The motor sailing vessel "Astral" is owned by the Atlas travel agency from Dubrovnik, which will use it for Adriatic cruises during the summer season.
