The companies Boltano d.o.o., Split and Rota d.o.o., Rijeka are the distributors for International Yacht Paint for the Republic of Croatia and in cooperation with the Service Centre Trogir d.o.o. and Akzo Nobel Coatings S.p.A. they organised an expert workshop on vessel maintenance in charter fleets on the premises of the Marina Trogir.
The workshop host and representative of Akzo Nobel, Mr. Nenad Andrić M.Sc. (Engineering) introduced the range of products for vessel maintenance to the attending managers and base managers of charter agencies and the managers of large service shops. Namely, he introduced antifouling paints, primers, clear polishes and boat cosmetics. These products are already present at the market, but their formulation is being constantly improved in order to increase the effectiveness of the protection and minimise the pollution of the environment.
All of the attendants were satisfied with the workshop because they received information that they can use even this season, when regular vessel maintenance activities start.
