American actors in the Trogir shipyard

Not a small number of employees were surprised at what they saw in the shipyard today - at first sight, the scene did not fit into the shipyard environment at all.
However, this hurried atmosphere which could be felt at the outfitting quay was an introduction into the filming of shots which would eventually appear in the American six-episode series Dig.
Executive producers of the series are the world-famous Tim Kring - one of the producers of Heroes, and Gideon Raff – the producer of Homeland, who chose our shipyard as one of the shooting locations for the series.
The plot of the series is set in Israel and revolves around an American FBI agent investigating a murder in Jerusalem. During the investigation, Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs) comes across a two thousand year old conspiracy on account of which he gets in trouble with the local authorities. His boss and lover, embodied in the character of Lynn Monahan, is played by the famous Hollywood actress Anne Heche.
Besides the leading actors in the series, the supporting roles were given to Lauren Ambrose, Regina Taylor, Alison Sudol, Omar Metwally, Richard E. Grant, Costabile and Ori Pfeffer, and several Croatian actors - Goran Grgić, Goran Navojec and Kristina Krepela - participated as well.
Embassy Films is the Croatian production company organising the shooting of DIG in Croatia. In parallel with this series, they also work on the television series Game of Thrones, which has been shot in Split for several seasons already.
Upon the completion of the shooting, the series Dig will be premiered on USA Network.
