La Stella dei Mari at Berth
The motor yacht La Stella dei Mari is currently at berth in the shipyard. it is 32.50 m long, and was built three years ago. It will be here for a week for the topside to be painted and general services. It can accommodate 8 guests in two VIP and two two-bedroom cabins. Up to 6 crew members make sure the guests have a relaxed experience. With its appearance and facilities, the yacht creates an elegant and comfortable atmosphere, and the top speed of 11.5 knots creates an ideal combination of performance and luxury. The arrival of the megayacht Jo is expected at the end of the month.
Bisovo and a Barge in the Dock
m/k Bisovo came to the shipyard for its annual general overhaul. According to plan, it will stay in the shipyard for seven days, during which the following works will be carried out: cleaning and painting, measurement of plate thickness, checkup of the propellers, works on the engine. The 40-metre long ship is owned by LNP d.d. from Split.
Iza Bišova u doku je i teglenica TEG 30 Ivana. Rijeè je o barži dugoj 40 metara, koja se koristi za hranjenje ribe u ribogojilištima. Stigla je radi remontnih radova vezanih za klasu trupa. I ona ostaje otprilike sedam dana. U vlasništvu je tvrtke Dalmar d.d. iz Pakoštana.
Maro in Repair
The motor yacht MARO (ex My et Toi) came in for a three-week repair. According to plan, the following works are envisaged: anticorrosion protection treatment on the underbody of the vessel, removal of the axle, removal of the propeller, underwater valves and similar works, painting of above-water hull (one side). The 40 metre-long yacht was built in 1988 in Italy. It has a capacity of ten persons and five cabins. Seven crew members will ensure a relaxed experience of this luxury yacht. Together with the my Maro, p/r Celica is in the dock as well for anti-corrosion protection works on its underbody, cleaning and painting.
Sailing Ships Under Repair
There are two motor sailing vessels, the MY Eleganza and the Andi Star, in the dock. The Eleganza is owned by Astrium Atalanta from Dubrovnik.
She is 25 m long, and 6 m wide. The sailing vessel Andi Star has the same dimensions and can take 14 guests in five spatious cabins. She is owned by the Split company ANDI CRUISING. The sailing vessels came for some “sprucing up” before the season. The ferry boat Blace joined them in the dock. Steel works will be performed on her hull. She is owned by the Split company Tanker d.d.
MT Sepen at Berth
MT Sepen is now at berth and she should soon enter into the dock. She was built in 2004, she is 93 m long and 14 m wide.
It arrived into the Trogir shipyard for overhauling and classification, and among other standard overhauling works, a significant range of works will be performed in cargo tanks – anticorrosive coating.T
he vessel is owned by the Rijeka shipping company Dinamarin d.o.o. In the last two years, this is the second overhaul for the said company.
Three luxurious mini cruisers
During the last week M/V Artemis has sailed in for an overhaul. The matter is of a luxurious passenger mini cruiser of 58.8m length and 10.67m width.
The vessel can take over 50 passengers accommodated in 26 cabins. Soon, two more, M/V Athens and M/V Arethus, are expected. A vessel overhaul contract has been signed with the firm GCCL (Cayman) Small Ships Management Limited, Walker House.
Mv Alfa Dragon on the dock
At the dock of the ship repairing industry of Trogir there is a vessel for bulk cargo transport, mv Alfa Dragon.
Its damaged hull created at grounding shall be repaired. Namely, the ship was grounded recently after its return from the Italian port of Porto Empedoci to Split, near Brac. It was built in 2006, and has been sailing under the flag of Panama. Its length is 80.6 metres.
Luxurious my Anna in for overhaul
After two years, the M/Y Anna has again sailed into the Trogir shipyard.
It was built in 2007 at the Dutch shipyard Feadship. The yacht, 67 meters long with an 11.8 meter beam, was designed by Michael Leach Design in Great Britain.
Plans call for the yacht to spend about 20 days in the shipyard, during which time it will receive a high-pressure wash, painting of the hull below the waterline, removal and remounting of the propeller, inspection and cleaning, replacement of the zinc anodes, and removal, high-pressure washing, and reinstallation of the anchor chain.
The yacht is owned by a company in the British Virgin Islands and is known around the world as a synonym for high quality but a simple but luxurious design.
Laguna at dock
MV LAGUNA is in overhaul. This is a general-cargo ship owned by LAGUNA SHIPPING COMPANY LTD. (TARTOUS – SYRIA).
Anti-corrosion protection works, hull works, works in the engine room and on the shaft assembly will be performed on the 99m long and 16m wide ship. Anticipated overhaul duration is approximately ten days.
My White Rose of Drachs made port
Mega yacht White Rose of Drachs came to be overhauled at the Trogir shipyard today. It is owned by NOVUS YACHTS Ltd.
General dock services will be performed at the 65 m long, 11,80m wide yacht. The works include anti-corrosion protection of the submerged part of the hull, provided that the heat-shrinkable protective plastics will be used on the raised scaffolding for the first time. Examination of the axle and helm will be made for the register, valves will be overhauled, gray water and potable water tanks cleaned, main switchboard examined and engine room equipment overhauled.
If everything goes according to plan, overhaul should take some 10 days.
