Delivery and Acceptance in Brodotrogir – Fair Winds and Following Seas, Dvina Gulf!

The delivery and acceptance of m/v Dvina Gulf, under the working name of Hull 329, was carried out in Brodotrogir. The contract on the equipping of a 45,000 tdw tanker for the transport of chemical and oil products was signed at the end of 2014 by Hrvatska brodogradnja Trogir d.o.o. and the VITERLEF MANAGEMENT LIMITED, BVI company.
Specifically, it is a tanker for the transport of chemical and oil products of 45,000 metric tons design to carry IMO II products in 20 tanks, with a length of 183 m and a width of 32.2 m. Its hull was built ten years earlier in the JSCo "PO Sevmash" shipyard in the north Russian Federation, Arkhangelska oblast, according to the design of a Norwegian client, one of the biggest owners of chemical tankers in the world. Following its arrival in our shipyard, it was partially equipped with a prime mover, auxiliary engines and certain other accompanying equipment.
In addition to the equipping and completion of construction, the task of the Trogir shipbuilders was to adapt the earlier project and harmonise it with the present regulations and standards, as well as to "rejuvenate" the ship.
The protocol on delivery and acceptance was signed, on behalf of the client, by Mr Sergey Neklyudov, one of the directors of the parent company Nevsky Mazut from the Russian Federation, and, on behalf of Hrvatska brodogradnja Trogir, by the director Mateo Tramontana.
In its shipyard, Brodotrogir is also completing the construction of another tanker, Hull 339, from this production line, for the same client. Like the first ship, it was partially built and equipped in the JSCo "PO Sevmash" shipyard.
