The Andrija Mohorovičić warship has sailed into the large dock 15 for repair

The Andrija Mohorovičić warship, a part of the Croatian Navy fleet, has sailed into the large dock 15 for overhaul, which will last about two months. Detailed servicing will be made, which will include the refurbishment of the interior spaces of the vessel, of the above-water part of the hull and of the underwater part of the hull. The above-water part will undergo an anticorrosive treatment, the wooden part of the deck and the fenders will be replaced, and the deck equipment will be examined. In the underwater part, the shell plating will be examined and undergo an anticorrosive treatment, with the replacement of zinc anodes, the valves and vessel pumps will be serviced and the coolers cleaned, two propeller shafts and the rudder will be demounted and four lignum vitae bearings will be replaced, and other works will also be undertaken, as necessary.
The Andrija Mohorovičić warship is intended for training, for the monitoring of the Ecological and Fisheries Protection Zone and for maritime search and rescue operations. In the latter role, it participated in a migrant rescue operation in the Mediterranean. It is 73 m long, 11 m wide, with a draught of 3.8 m. It accommodates 37 crew members.
The yacht Katina is being serviced in the small dock 4. It will undergo works on the propeller shafts and the propellers, the corrosion protection of the hull and steel works, as necessary.
The luxuriously furnished yacht is 60 meters long and is intended for cruises in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. The six cabins can accommodate 12 passengers, who are catered for by 10 crew members. It is powered by two 1000 kW engines, which reach the speed of over 14 knots, and two pairs of automatic stabilizers, which make the stay on board the ship more comfortable.   
With the assistance of the large 600 t travel lift, the Ladyship was drawn from the sea onto the Marina Trogir servicing platform, where it will undergo works on the rudder plate and the propeller shaft, as well as the washing of the underwater part of the hull.
The Ladyship yacht is 41 m long and 7.76 m wide. It was built in 1994 at the Heesen Yachts shipyard in the Netherlands. The six cabins can accommodate 12 passengers, who have seven crew members at their disposal during the cruise. The vessel is powered by two engines which reach the speed of up to 14.5 knots.
